Here is what happened today:

1. The girls had a sleepover last night with Helena. They didn't sleep that much, but they didn't get up until after 9. M lost a tooth last night – one of her molars. They watched Mean Girls (again!) and had popcorn.

2. The girls were fitted for full pointe shoes today! It was a shorter class than usual, and Helena's dad picked them up and took them to Z Burger before dropping them off at home. That was nice.

3. A finally blew up the Wubble Bubble! She loves it! So does N.

4. N got a haircut this morning. Daddy also took him to the carwash and the dry cleaner. Some good boys' time.

5. Daddy left for a trip to Afghanistan and Pakistan via Paris. Here is his first class sleeping pod.

6. The kids and I had a pasta dinner at home. I ate pasta with sauce and zucchini; A ate pasta with sauce and had zucchini on the side; M had pasta on its own with sauce and zucchini on the side; and N picked at his plain pasta and ate pirate booty for dinner. 

7. The girls gave N a shower, which he came out of screaming and refused to use a towel. Good times.

8. I cut the girls' hair tonight! A trim, though M ended up getting more hair cut than she wanted. (Sorry!) Both girls are still speaking to me, and we saved $60 and the hassle of getting to Bethesda and trying to get an appointment. 

9. The girls and I are watching TAR and will watch Idol after that. Mellow Saturday night!

10. Oh, and I ran 7 miles today. Half marathon in a week! AARGH!
