When Daddy dropped off N at school today, N hugged Daddy goodbye and started sobbing. It broke Daddy's heart and mine too when he told me. I asked N about it tonight and he said that he was sad because he wanted to be at home instead of school. 🙁  Maybe just first week jitters and emotions. I really blame DCPS for starting school so early. They needed more time at home before school started.

M had her first travel soccer practice tonight. She said it was hard and that her coach is realizing that M needs some coaching for goalie. She has practice every Tu and Th from 7:30-9 and on Fridays at 6. Not so convenient… I am proud of her and also worried about her being exhausted and us doing all that driving. She is carpooling with her friend Abby so that definitely helps.

A helped me put together the new couch in the basement tonight. It is fun to assemble furniture with the kids!
