4th Of July In Quarantine

This was a long and relatively busy weekend. We had some social plans, some downtime, lots of exercise and eating.

Daddy had friends over twice – Frank came on Friday night and stayed til 3AM, and then Frank came back today with their friend Jon and they hung out in the pool.

M had Phoebe and Maya over on Saturday night and we invited Phoebe's parents too, so we all hung out in the backyard and had desserts and drinks while the kids swam.

A met some friends at Reno on Saturday during her one afternoon off in her two week program.

I had my friend Jen over Friday to go in the pool and Sarah on Saturday afternoon. So it was a social weekend!

A has been working very hard on scenes and monologues.

M is starting her Chinese program tomorrow AM. She's already working hard.

N's summer took a bit of a turn on Friday. We learned that his baseball camp this week (and two weeks later in July) has been canceled because it takes place in a DC park and they won't let it run. So we had to scramble to find something for him to do for three weeks. We found good stuff! Tomorrow he starts Mad Science detective camp for a week. They came tonight and dropped off a box of supplies for him, and he's somewhat excited. He's glad that the age range is 7-9 so he won't be the youngest kid. We're also working on some playdates for him this week and some Outschool classes.  And best of all, we got him into a Sports Management program at Sidwell camp in a few weeks.
