We are in Orlando for Quiz Bowl Nationals!
Today was a very long day. N competed in Geography Bowl today with his friend Jake. For their first Nationals, they did great! They came in third place for most of the sessions they were in. I don’t think either of them studied terribly hard for it, so while they cared a lot about it, they could have done better if they had put more time into it.
He competed for several hours today and took two exams – European Geography and Map & Flag. N did pretty well – top half for both.
Tomorrow will be another long day – History Bee and Geography Bee, then THREE more exams (Political Science, US Geography and Recent History) and then an Intro to Model UN.
He also snuck in a quick swim.
