Tonight is the 8th grade dance. In fact, it's going on right now. The girls had their hair done at Drybar earlier this afternoon, then they came home and got dressed, and then went to Maggiano's for dinner with Katie, Genevieve, Lydia, Marie, Abby and Harper. M wrote a sweet speech about her lunch table. I picked them up at dinner at 7 and drove them to Deal, where all of the 8th graders were just standing outside the school and not going in (?). Everyone looks so pretty! Even the boys were (sort of) dressed up.

Tomorrow is the 8th grade promotion! Grandma and Grandpa are here and we will be celebrating at dinner tomorrow night too.
