N had his Chess class yesterday after school. He did not want to go. In fact, he was crying after school and during the class, even with Nana there to walk him to the class and wait for him there. But his teacher, who was so surprised to see N crying, was so concerned that she went to check on him three times during the hour class to make sure he was OK. After a little while, he stopped crying and was paying attention and participating. Hopefully he'll decide to go back next class. He said that the teacher was "strict".

M presented her National History Day paper to a 6th grade class today, and tomorrow she goes to the Archives to present the paper in the city-wide competition! Daddy is taking her down and she will spend the middle of the day at his office. She has a bound copy of her paper, which made her very excited.

This is Tech Week for HSM. Opening Night is in 9 days!
