MLK Day

Today is MLK Day. Here's how we've spent it.

We had breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa, and they hung out and read to/played with N while Daddy and I had to go out for an hour and before they left to drive to NJ.

M&A went to a Camp Louise reunion at BowlMor in Gaithersburg. They had a good time.

N and I went to an MLK service day at Lafayette. There, we made sandwiches for a shelter, packed crayon/coloring sheets for kids in hospital waiting rooms, made snack bags and cards for firemen/policemen, braided dog toys and made a card for a nursing home. He turned to me in the middle and said, "This is fun!"

Now we are getting the Sidwell applications out the door. NCS went out earlier today. That just leaves Maret, due Thursday.

And I am going out of town for work for 2 nights. Sad to leave on a holiday but I have early meetings tomorrow.

Best kids in the world! Oh, I just got compliments on A's babysitting from the Daultons (Bella and Livia love her!) and on the girls' thank-you notes to the Kohn-Murphys.

Here are pics from today and last night:
