We are here in OBX. Record time – about 4.5 hours door to door DC to Duck. N was threatening that he had to throw up at the very end, and we kept talking him out of it and getting annoyed, and then he stepped out of the car and threw up. Thank god he didn't do it 5 minutes earlier.

The house is good and we are right on the beach. It's warmer than DC but not that warm, and it's getting colder.

Nothing is open – we made Harris Teeter's 7PM close time by about an hour and are well stocked for food. HelloFresh tonight and maybe tomorrow night too.

It's 10:03 and N is going to bed, M&A are working on essays, and I just got online. Very quiet Christmas Eve.

One highlight: we listened to All Of A Kind Family on audio on the way down and N, who has been reading it with Daddy, really liked it.
