Tonight is the first night of Hanukah! We got a late start because Daddy, the girls and I were downtown at the School Without Walls open house. We returned home around 8:15, made a quick dinner, and then lit the candles and opened presents. N was very patient – he had been waiting SO long for us to get home.

These are MOST of the presents but a few more are on their way.

Here's what was opened tonight:

N: new pajamas and an animal keychain (a monkey) that he immediately put on his backpack, next to the new elephant keychain he got from Grandma Sandy.

M: salts from around the world and new hat/gloves (tech fingers!)

A: an H&M jumpsuit she wanted and new hat/gloves (tech fingers!)

Me: lotions and creams and a makeup setting spritz, and a candle – all smell fantastic

Daddy: passport holder (it holds 6!) and an international electrical adapter set

Oh… and Doug Jones won!! Amazing and wonderful.
