We are back from our Thanksgiving trip to RonDeeVous. It was a lot of fun and we packed a lot in for the 48 hours we were there! Thursday night, we had Thankgsiving dinner. Some was homemade, some was not, all was delicious. Other than one red wine mishap, everything went very smoothly. N made the placecards and Sydney and Eden made a lot of decorations for the table. We passed around cards and wrote what we were thankful for, and then read them out loud and guessed who wrote them. It was fun. N was thankful for his mom and dad, A thankful for a number of things (including family, Stranger Things and SSAT score!), and M thankful for family and the Nats (Los Nacionales).
Yesterday we hung out at home and then went for a "hike" at a nearby waterfall. It was beautiful and fun to get outside. In the morning the Littles did a haunted house in the basement that was actually scary, thanks to piercing shrieks from Sydney and Eden!
Last night we had dinner at a nearby restaurant called Peter's (where we met Peter). Delicious!
Today the cousins got a lot of play time together, including a long game of Memory. We left around 3:30 to head back to DC and stopped for dinner in Harrisburg for the first time at a restaurant that Grandpa Ron recommended. Yummy and somewhere we may go again.
So we're back in DC with a day to decompress tomorrow.
Here are some pics. Daddy has a lot more which I will post tomorrow.
