Halloween! My favorite day of the year. And it was a good one!
The girls went trick or treating in Abby and Charlotte's neighborhood after a short stint in CCDC with N. They dressed as Santa's Elf and Mrs. Claus. I am going to pick them up in a few minutes at 9:45 – late!
Meanwhile N had a good day. He had his Halloween Party in his classroom, complete with Frankenstein Pudding (?) and other treats, as well as the Lafayette parade. We saw him 3 times and he was adorable.
Tonight we went trick or treating in the hood with Dax and his parents. Rittenhouse and the scary house at Utah/Nebraska were both completely crowded and overwhelming, but the rest of the streets were pretty empty as usual. I think N had a good time. His costume was a huge hit. He got SO many comments on it, from adults, from people giving out candy, from kids big and small. They loved the lights! And the costume helped light the way. It was great! I think it was a little hard for him to see his feet and he had trouble putting candy in his pumpkin so we started carrying the pumpkin and he just carried the candy from the door to the pumpkin. I was so happy about all the comments on the costume! I think he really liked it. (You can't see the colors of the lights in the pics.)
