N thought he had library today, and we were excited because his class's library visit was going to coincide with my volunteer hour at the library. But it turned out to be Red Base who had library this morning. I was very disappointed. I was crouching in non-fiction shelving some books about alligators, when all of a sudden N ran up to me and gave me a hug. It turned out that he was assigned Library Helper today, so he got to return books during first period while I was there! It was a great surprise and we were both very happy. He said, "Well, at first they said that Nellie was library helper, and I was like, 'Aw.', and then they said 'and Nate" and I was very happy!"

N went to the early hours at CMG so he could get checked out for his rash, which was worse this morning. The doctor thinks it's an allergic reaction but she is not sure to what. Either way, he was better today, though his teacher called me at noon to find out what was going on with the bumps.

A doesn't think her audition for As You Like It went very well. 🙁
