A lot happening here!
The girls got their schedules yesterday. They are on the same team, as we requested, but they only have one class together (geometry). We don't know much about their teachers but the report from the Aladjems is that most of them are good. The girls don't know this yet but Ellie is on their team and she has three classes with A and one with M. I sent them their schedules in the mail today and also emailed them this morning. M didn't get her Model UN teacher, Ms. Trenkle, and I know that she will be sad about that.
N got HIS teacher today too, which is exciting and made for a day of constantly refreshing the Lafayette website (fruitlessly, as it turns out that they only emailed them). He got Ms. Abraham, who is supposed to be great! So we're happy about that. He has a few pals in his class: Aurora, Reuven, Maddie H and Andrew L.
The not so good news is that after he got home from camp, N spiked a fever. He's fine right now, thanks to Motrin, but he's clearly fighting something. He won't go to camp tomorrow. Sad that he'll miss a day. We're thinking of adding a week next week so that makes me a little less sad. When Daddy took his temperature, N said, "It's good the girls aren't here so I can't make them sick."
N has been very entertaining lately. I can't remember all the zingers, but there have been many. I need to write them down. He's a very funny kid.
We got a ton of letters from the girls last night plus an email from M. So great to hear from them and it sounds like they are having a really good time at camp. We love hearing all the details.
