My Friday

As Fridays go, not a bad one!

Bootcamp

Walk N to school; we got there BEFORE THEY OPENED THE DOORS. That has never happened before. It was a joy. Note to self: Wake up N earlier.

Stuff at home, calls, work

Wait for girls at the bus stop, only to discover that they had walked home, which explains why my GPS showed them getting home so slowly. I thought there was just a lot of traffic.

Take girls to soccer, pick up dinner, pick up girls from soccer.

Dinner here on the deck with the kids and Grandma Sandy. Beautiful night.

Grandma gave N a piano lesson and read him most of a new Nate the Great from the library.

THEN we did something I've wanted to do for a long time. We put away all the jewelry the girls received for their BM into their new jewelry boxes. So satisfying!

Now the girls are doing a jigsaw puzzle that Ellie gave them for their BM, with photos of them on it. So sweet.

And we may play my old game, 221B Baker Street.

N en route to school. See how happy he is bc we aren't running to make the door. "One minute!"
