Weekend Wrapup

Well, the weekend has come and gone and it is 12:15AM Monday morning and I didn't post. A quick rundown of what's going on:

Daddy and I went to the Lafayette auction last night, and for the first time I can remember, we didn't win the Teacher's Treat. It was just too expensive. And too bad because we told Ms. G we were bidding and she was all excited to have N over. But the night was fun and we had a good time catching up with friends. I FaceTimed with M when I saw Mr. Gregal and Ms. Nickel, at her request. 🙂

We accomplished a number of bat mitzvah-related errands. M's dress is back in the house; mine is at the tailor's, both complete outfits were tried on, speeches were edited, a few TY notes were written, some spreadsheets updated, email sent to friends' parents, and a final tutoring session with Dina completed. All good.

N tagged along for a lot of errands with me and with Daddy all weekend and seemed to have a great time. He and I planted pansies in the backyard today – they look lovely.

M&A saw "Beauty and the Beast" yesterday with their friends (twins) Charlotte and Abby. It was the first time they ever went to the movies without a grownup, and hung around Mazza and got snacks and food beforehand. They had a really good time.

N and I stopped by Debbie's today (hi Debbie!) and N met her cat Mickey and played with toys from her basement. He had a great time and commented after that he liked the stories about the cats.

OK, big week ahead. Time for bed.
