The girls are not here tonight – they are at Amanda's house for a sleepover following her bat mitzvah. Sounds like it was a fun party this afternoon at Maggiano's. We will pick them up tomorrow morning (after they inconveniently lose ANOTHER hour of sleep for DST!).

Daddy and I spent the day with N. This morning they ran errands, then N went to a birthday party at Quinn's and finally experienced The Great Zucchini! Then I took N to the BCC book sale – which he enjoyed not much at all – and we came home and watched Shrek. He thought it was "weird". Tonight Daddy and I took N to dinner at Blue 44. He was so good – he did a lot of coloring and had a good dinner.

Also – I ran the Rock n Roll half marathon in the FREEZING cold this morning. It was 27 degrees when I left the house. But it was a good race and while I was tired today, I am so glad I did it. I went with my friend Sarah. We were pretty warm during the race – it was just the before and after that were painful. Thank you to Grampy for coming out on a very cold morning and cheering me on at Mile 6! Here is the after when we were back home:
