Farewell, Boxes

Tomorrow the girls are heading out for a bat mitzvah in Rockville – Amanda's – and then they will sleep over at her house after the reception. So they won't be home until Sunday and I won't even see them tomorrow because I am going to run a half-marathon in the frigid 20s. UGH – not excited.

I got to pick up N at school today and he was so happy to see me. SO CUTE. Tonight he made a cute project – a series of connected squares, each a different color with a letter on it. The letters correspond to the people in the family – M, A, N, D and M, and the colors are each of our favorite colors on our assigned squares. He said that he made it so he can look at it when someone in the family is not home. Yellow Base just finished up its unit on boxes and is moving on to healthy bodies and nutrition, which starts next week.

Montage coming along; speeches proceeding glacially. Tonight we tallied up our t-shirt size orders.

I hope I don't freeze!
