The girls had to do presentations in their English class this week about warriors, comparing someone in their lives to one of the black teenagers in the Little Rock Nine, who attended desegregated high schools in the 60s. Both girls chose to write about Daddy, and interviewed him about fighting for what he believes in and being a diplomat in public service. Daddy was very proud and touched.

They are learning about DNA in science, Hindu letters in Ancient Civilizations, complicated math functions in Algebra, and conjugating in Spanish.

A is in the home stretch for her play this Friday. She is Cobweb in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
