Here are the most recent reports from Hobart's walks.
12:37 PM: We had a lovely sunny walk today. He peed and pooped and could not get enough of the puperoni treat I brought for him. I broke it into little pieces so he thinks he’s had a lot but it’s only a small piece. Anyway, glad I could put a smile on his face Beverly
11:34 AM: Hobart was very intrigued with a squirrel on the start of our walk, the squirrel on the other hand was not happy. He immediately sensed that you drove past us and tried to catch up! Peed many times, pooped and went searching for you when he got home. Have a good weekend. Beverly
11:42 AM: I walked Hobart with Stanley today. They walked very well together. Stanley was excited to see him. He peed many times and pooped. Beverly
12:45 PM: Had a lovely walk with Hobart. We bumped into Stanley again and walked them together. They seem very compatible walking buddies. I’m going to have Erin and Stanley meet me at Hobart’s next week to walk them together. He peed and pooped but runny poop and seem to have a slight tummy ache. Beverly
12:37 PM: Hobart got us on a brisk pace today! He peed couple of times and pooped. Had a doggy biscuit for his treat Beverly
12:24 PM: Lovely day to be outside. We had a nice walk, he peed and pooped and tried to catch up to two retrievers to say hi but we were a little too far behind. Have a good weekend. Beverly
11:41 AM: Hobart did his usual pees and he pooped but today’s highlight was meeting Bean, a little 2.5yr old pup. They played so well together. You could literally see the smile on his face. Beverly
Also, we sent in this update to LDAR on the anniversary of adopting H:
Hobart (FLRN, adopted Feb 2022)
Hi! We adopted Hobart in February 2022. We ADORE him! He is super attached to us, loves his long walks, and has gotten more vocal and excited as he's gotten more comfortable in our house. He has improved all of our lives considerably since he got here. We are so grateful that he found his way to us and are so lucky that we get to give him a happy home with hugs and exercise and warm places to sleep. Thank you to LDAR and especially Paul S. for bringing him up from SC and for letting us foster fail so quickly. – Gayle W.
