Oh I have SO much to catch up on. I haven't posted in a whole and a lot has happened!
Most of it has to do with N. The girls are fine. A has been working hard on scenes for school and was supposed to go to the DR next weekend for Spring Break, but the friend she was going with didn't get her passport in time. So it looks like she will be going to PR instead (no passport needed, I guess). She had a nice brunch with Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron today, and saw Darrah and Jason and the girls last weekend. And in 2 weeks we will all be together at Sydney's bat mitzvah. M is doing well too. It is only 78 more days til she is home! She has a big presentation this week to the group of host families and students – I have just learned that it is a talent show and she and a group are performing a song. She sent a pic of it but it's in Chinese and I have no idea what it's about!
OK, here is the N news.
HE GOT IN TO SIDWELL AND GDS ON FRIDAY! Huge news! And now he has decisions to make.
We are so happy for him!
And N and I just got back from Florida. Dad flew down on Thursday AM for his partner retreat and we flew down on Thursday evening so that we could crash in his hotel room! We had to be very careful because families are not invited. So we laid very low. We were able to see Dad a few times over the course of the two days but not a lot because he was very busy with Covington stuff the whole time. N and I went to spring training and two Nats games, which was really fun. I have a lot of pics from FL but am too tired to post them tonight so I will post them tomorrow. We went to a Nats-Mets game in Port St. Lucie on Friday afternoon and a Nats-Cardinals game this afternoon in West Palm Beach. We saw some workouts and met Davey Martinez and just generally enjoyed being in beautiful weather. We also had a nice dinner out last night and brunch this AM in Boca Raton.
All in all, a really fun few days in FL and a nice taste of warm weather. We even got to go in the pool/lazy river. N and I got home tonight and Dad will be home tomorrow.
I think there are more things from last week that I forgot to post about. Nana's birthday; I went to NY to take Tuvana out for dinner for her birthday. There may be more but I can't remember!
