A Spicy New Year

Today was Rosh Hashanah. N and I went to Family Service this morning, which he liked but didn't love. He laughed out loud a few times at the story (the rabbi was dressed up as a beekeeper and the cantor as a bee), but he didn't love the shofar. He was most excited because his friend Carolyn was sitting 2 rows behind us.

I took N to school after services (and this time they let me walk him to his room), and then met Daddy, M and A at the grownup service. It was long. A was happy because she sat with Abby and Zoe. We got home around 1 and hung out here the rest of the day. N had a big fan club picking him up at school – M, Daddy and Nana. Daddy took N and Nana and A to tashlich, where you throw bread into Rock Creek. Then we had a nice dinner here.

Tonight, M and A and I reorganized the spice drawer. It was SO fun and we all loved doing it.
