We are at Ron-Dee-Vous for the annual August gathering. It has been a lot of fun getting all the cousins together and hanging out by the beautiful lake. Eden and N have resumed their strong friendship.  It's so cute – he is very protective and complimentary of her. She made him a napkin with his name on it but was upsest because she didn't think she did a good job writing his name, and he said, "No, Eden, it's beautiful! I love it You did a great job." He wants to take it to Italy.

We've been watching Olympics (Simone Biles and Michael Phelps and Michael Phelps and Michael Phelps) and playing handball on the pool table and Chinese Checkers and more. We've had yummy food and loud thunderstorms. And we've ALL been in the lake! Daddy and Darrah got a stand up paddleboard and Daddy and I got to go for a lovely paddle/kayak this morning before N got up.

Now we are going to take family pictures and then we leave for Italy in a few hours! We're very excited.

PS. Our lucky streak with Lafayette teachers has continued. N got the best pre-K teacher! We're very happy. And M&A jsut got their schedules and they are mostly very happy. They have two classes together.
