We have had a busy 4th of July weekend!

Daddy and I went to the Nats game on Friday night. It went long after a rain delay, and we left in the top of the 8th during a tie. The Nats won while we were en route home!

On Saturday night we went to go hear EagleMania at a lovely winery in VA. We brought a picnic dinner and met Grandma and Stu there. As always the band was great and N had so much fun dancing and climbing on Daddy. It was a long night and he was a great sport!

Today we went on a rather random long day trip to a town in Virginia called Urbanna. It was a l0ng way to go for a rainy day and brisket sandwich, but ww had fun and N was a great sport, again. He was rewarded for his many hours in the car with a fireworks display at Chevy Chase Club. Daddy took him up to watch on Conn. Ave with Sarah and John.

In other news…

We got EIGHT LETTERS FROM THE GIRLS YESTERDAY! It was so good to hear from them. They sound like they are having a good time. We were so happy to hear what is going on. 

Here is something funny that happened today. He pulled his blue Nate chair into my bathroom and said he wanted to have "a conversation" with me. I said OK. We both sat down. Then he said he wanted to talk about whether or not he was going to come on a walk with Lucky with me. He had a series of questions to ask me about the walk.

"Do you want me to come and keep you company or do you want privacy?"

"Do you want to take him on a long walk or a short walk?"

"Do you want him to poop or pee?"

"Do you want me to walk next to you, behind you, or in front of you?"

"Do you want him on the leash or not?"

It was sooo cute.
