I am going through some old emails and came across this picture of the girls on their birthday last year. They were performing in Alice in Wonderland that day, and this was taken by one of the ballet teachers. I am not sure who the dancer in the middle is, but the girls will know.

A will be performing on her birthday this year too – twice – in Bye Bye Birdie. It seems to be her birthday destiny! I don't think she minds at all.

From Daddy: "Forgot to tell you that when I told N I was going to TX for 2 days, and that it was the state at the bottom of the country, he said, 'the one with the hat and the boots'?!  Then he asked why I had to go for work if my work was so close by.  Then he said he'd like to go to TX sometime, and I said maybe on my next trip he could go w me, and he said, 'ok, but the whole family.'  So sweet and smart!"

Julia and Ellie are sleeping over tonight because Julia is here from San Diego and there is no school tomorrow. They are watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

And we got one spot on the Ellis Island trip! M is going. Not happily, but not necessarily unhappily either. At least she can skip ballet for a good reason.
