It has been a few days since I have posted. I was away Saturday night at my law school reunion, then fell asleep early on Sunday night and fell asleep before writing last night. Daddy did a great job over the weekend. He took A to her soccer game in the cold and wind – she played REALLY well – and did M ballet pickup and dropoff and got yummy burgers for the kids and had to do TWO Math 8 lessons. Then on Sunday he took N for a haircut and to his soccer practice, which did not go so well.

There was a lot going on and he had to do it solo.
I returned home Sunday around 1:30 and went to book club with the girls, where we discussed Sarah W's favorite book, The Hunger Games. There was quite a lot to discuss.
Our week has gotten off to a busy start, but N doesn't have school tomorrow and the girls don't have school on Friday, so that makes things a little easier. Daddy is going out of town Thursday-Saturday nights, and I am going to the Nats game tonight. Lots of moving pieces.
It turns out we missed the registration deadline for the Ellis Island trip, so the girls may not end up going after all. They are on a waitlist and the passive aggressive religious school woman is not being very nice about it. We'll see what happens. And N is still on the waitlist for Lafayette pre-K. I went to a meeting for admitted parents today (act the part, right?) and saw where the pre-K will be in the new building, which sounds like it is going to be amazing.
So that's the scoop. Busy week.
