We've had a pleasant, productive weekend to kick off Spring Break.

Yesterday, N and I went to the plant store in the AM and bought pansies for the front and back. N helped me pick them all out. They look great!

Then Daddy took the kids to the bike store to get his bike tuned up and to size bikes for the kids. We have a hand me down from Ichi Bai and it turns out it's the right size for N! We got training wheels put on and the girls helped him bike around the parking lot. We're also looking into bikes for the girls, as they haven't gotten new ones since 2011!

Meanwhile, back at home, I c0-hosted my favorite podcast, which was SO much fun. I have always wished I could co-host, and I got my chance. I hope it happens again. I can't wait to hear the episode!

The girls went to a slumber party for Abby last night. They have been in great moods today despite not getting a lot of sleep. They went to bed late after watching "Catch Me If You Can". While they were gone, N and Daddy and I went out to dinner in Cleveland Park. It was so cute – we were sitting next to the window, and N waved to everyone who walked by, trying to get them to wave back. He was sad when people didn't see him, but he was so happy (and shy) when people waved back. Adorable.

Today we went to go pick up the girls at Abby's, and then came home and hung out here most of the day. Daddy took N biking at the playground, but N wanted to play more than he wanted to bike. Grampy came over for a visit after nap, and we spent the day packing and getting ready for our trip to the Homestead tomorrow in VA. Hoping for a relaxing few days!
