The girls had a field trip to the Newseum today. It sounds like they had a good time, though I haven't really gotten a good sense of what they saw or learned. They were there most of the day, so they should have covered a lot of ground. Daddy says that they told him that they saw some movies on 3 subjects: Nellie Bly, WWII and something else. They looked at the Pulitzer Prize photography, the Berlin Wall and the weather reporting.
A had rehearsal after school but it was just the singers. Not sure why Dance Ensemble A was on the schedule.
She also did a really cool powerpoint for PE on Bullying.
M has been working on her Model UN stuff – she is assigned to a group from Senegal.
Yesterday the girls went to the dentist. All OK there – no cavities and things are moving along. We didn't have Dr. Dana; we had the male Dr. Dana, also known as Dr. Charlie. Here they are in sunglasses:
Also, when I drop M off at ballet, I ask her to text me when she's inside so I know she got in OK. She usually forgets. On Monday, she remembered, and she sent me a drawing of where the phone is compared to where class is. (At least I think that's what she drew):
OOPS! I deleted it from my phone. Hopefully she still has it.
