The Little Boy went to the dentist this morning. He was such a good boy! He was very patient with the hygienist cleaning his teeth, and he was very calm and good. I am so proud of him! When Dr. Dana came to look in his mouth, she said he was an "angel" and gave him a sweet kiss on his head. He was so good. Everything looks good in his mouth. They asked if N sucks his thumb (yes) and showed me where his front teeth are protruding as a result. Dr. Dana said that at this age, she doesn't want thumbsucking to be considered a problem, so we should let it happen and not make him feel badly about it. The funny this is that N heard a lot of this, and tonight he asked me about the thumbsucking. I told him what Dr. Dana said, and that he could keep doing it or decide to stop. I asked what he wanted to do, and he said "Keep sucking my thumb!!"
For his treat, he picked some Mickey Mouse stickers and a rubber turtle, which is in the bathtub. He calls the bag of stuff "my goody bag".
He also got a Hershey Kiss, which A had promised he would. Then he dropped it on the floor, and we were able to get another one.
He has 20 teeth and they look great.
Here are some pics from the dentist:
In Deal news, A is convinced that she is part ladybug because they keep landing on her at school.
The girls were assigned countries that they need to research. A got her favorite country, Australia! And M got South Africa!
