Weekend Accomplishments

For a weekend that didn't have a lot of pre-set plans, we got a lot accomplished!

Here's what happened:

-N got a haircut. Daddy thinks it's too short but I think it looks adorable.

-We went to the TSNS auction. We won the Teacher's Treat and the class project. It's a plate and so cute.

-A didn't leave the house yesterday. She did leave today. 🙂

-We did some cooking: peanut butter balls, quinoa bites.

-N went with me to TJs today. We ran into my friend Debra in the parking lot and N hung out with her son Andrew in the store. It was so cute. And N said to me in the car, when I told him that I saw Debra and Andrew, "Is her hand better?" (She broke her arm in December.) I am so impressed he remembered and asked.

-M made an instrument for her music class. It's very cool. It is a string instrument, a percussion instrument and a shaker all in one.

-A is loving her rehearsals for Bye Bye Birdie. Only one this week for Dance Ensemble – it's on Tuesday.

-N weighs 39 pounds. He is outgrowing his carseats in my car and Daddy's car.

-Daddy and I went out to dinner with friends tonight and Grandma Sandy babysat. Thanks, Mom!

-Happy birthday Uncle Jonathan (M)!

-I have one week til a half-marathon. Ran 11 miles yesterday so I feel pretty ready.

-We got our front outdoor lights fixed, which Daddy is very happy about.

-Daddy took N with him to drop off a birthday present for his friend Greg. I think they had fun.
