One reason I love that the girls have email is that I can send them emails throughout the day and I get awesome responses when they check their email. Today I sent them a slideshow of downloadable Valentines (even though they don't really give out Valentines in middle school other than ones they order through the school – little telegram-type messages) and they looked at all of them and sent me ones they liked (well, A did). And I sent them a video that has gone viral of a dad who creates dubsmashes with his baby son all day and sends them to his wife. They are very entertaining and the girls loved them.
It is so cute getting responses from them during the day!
Today I was sitting at my desk at work and I got a vey alarmed call from M. She said, "Mommy! I dropped a barrette in the toilet and I don't know what to do!" She was panicked. I told her to reach in, get it out, and then wash her hands. I think she then threw out the barrette.
On the way to school today, N said, "Mommy, when was I NOT helpful last night?" I couldn't think of any examples other than when he was once jumping on Daddy's head.
Cute vision of the day: A doing iReady math on the computer and trying to explain it to N.
The girls brought home amazing report cards from the second advisory!
Snow tomorrow. 🙁
