A Saturday on Mars

So today wasn't a bad day other than Daddy leaving early this morning. M went to the ballet with Grandma to see Sleeping Beauty by the ABT at the KC. N and A and I ran some errands and saw Grampy when we dropped off his calendar. N actually took a good nap today, which he hasn't done lately, and after M got home we finished the 80s jigsaw puzzle. Tonight we ordered pizza and made rice krispie treats and watched The Martian.

So not a bad day. Tomorrow the girls have a special day at Sunday School – they have to dress up as an immigrant to Ellis Island in 1910 and act out that character.

I have to share the best letter we got from N's pre-school about his development this year. It's upstairs and it's late but I will copy some of it tomorrow. Also funny from N: today at the supermarket, I asked him to put a box of frozen waffles in the little cart he was pushing, and he said, "Don't mind if I do!"

A was very helpful today when we ran errands with N. Thank you, A! She's also working on some complicated braids for tomorrow – either a Dutch braid or a Milkman Braid. I will take pics.

We miss you, Daddy!
