Our weekend of confinement continues! The snow has stopped, but we're not plowed out yet. Daddy took things into his own hands and plowed part of the street so that he can get his car out tomorrow. Hopefully a real plow will come tomorrow and allow us to get our cars out! School was off today and is cancelled again tomorrow. We're hoping we can get Imogene here tomorrow, especially because I am heading to NY for work and Daddy has a very busy day at work.

Some things we've done over the last 2 days…

Had the Murphys and Fulds over for dinner last night.

Made a few more meals – Daddy tried a new pancake recipe, I made steak fajitas, and at N's urging, we made snickerdoodles

Lots of shoveling

Made an igloo on the back deck!

Started a new puzzle – the 80s puzzle! – which is awesome

Finally worked on the Ellis Island project

Lots of reading

Some sledding

Eating of snow ice, M's specialty

I am sad to be leaving tomorrow! Especially after so many days at home with the family.
