Proud Of Our Kids

We are proud of each of the kids for things they did this weekend.

A had her evaluation today with Miss Lilla. She put on a leotard, tights and ballet slippers for hte first time in 7 months and danced and stretched and plie-ed and spun in a private session. She did great! Lilla was very impressed with her technique. When A did the splits, Lilla said, "Ah yes, now I remember you!" We are proud that A got back into it and went into it and did her best. She is likely going to go back to dancing with Lilla this week, with a ballet class on Thursdays and 3 (!) classes on Friday – a conditioning class and possibly two jazz classes. A seems excited and energized by dancing somewhere new with a different approach.

M is back in the swing of things at WSB. She went to 4 classes this week, including two in the new studio. She doesn't enjoy it much but she goes with a good attitude and doesn't complain (much). Both girls have been SO amazing with N all weekend. They have voluntarily spent a lot of time with him, doing puzzles, showing him games, watching movies with him, hanging out in the hammock with him. It is adorable. They are the best sisters in the world.

They also cleaned up their room very nicely yesterday.

N has gone to the bathroom on the potty a lot. He held his pee all the way home from the vet (we took L in this AM) and even though he was uncomfortable, he made it. He's been so sweet all weekend (although he gave Imogene a hard time last night about taking a bath). He said some funny stuff today. We were taking Lucky to the vet for a "butt squeeze" and he said "Will Lucky get a sticker?" He also wanted to go back with Lucky when they took him back. He had a lot of questions about the vet.

Daddy took N to soccer today, which was outdoors for a change:
