Focus on… N

The girls had a good time on their trip to Hemlock today. When I picked them up at 5:45, they were very tired and hungry. It was a little muddy there and it rained on them for about 30 minutes, but it could have been a lot worse. I am not sure what they learned today, but I do think they made some new friends (and had to contend with some really annoying boys).

We set up the girls' voicemail tonight. Call and leave them messages.

Daddy is back from his trip to NY, and it is our anniversary today! 14 years. We celebrated over the weekend so it's ok that we're sitting on the couch watching TV at 11:45PM.

Little N. The cutest. He didn't nap today, for some reason, so he was tired by bedtime. Right before bed, he decided he wanted to do finger paints. I told him no, that it was too late, and he screamed "I WANT TO DO IT RIGHT NOW!" It was very hard for us not to laugh. He ended up giving in pretty easily.

He is liking his new PJs. He peed on the potty last night AND tonight and tried to go poopy too. He drew letters on the easel down in the basement and made a big sun with rays coming off of it. He loves a new DVD called Mother Goose Rocks and asks for it the second he wakes up. He loves to sing songs and knows the words. He's very particular about what he wants to listen to. I think his favorite person in the world to play with is Imogene. He remembers so many things and makes complex connections. He is so attached to his sneakers that he won't wear the pair I bought him 4 months ago.

There is so much more but it is now 12:08PM and I need to go to bed.
