I
am
tired.
There is a lot going on here. Most of all, it's the girls' room re-do. Today, it was painted purple. It looks amazing. A new chandelier went in. It looks amazing. The hanging swing was installed. It's awesome. A long shelf is going across the room, which looks good. And new furniture is in: 2 desks that I assembled over the weekend and a dresser that I half-assembled tonight. Will do the rest (drawers) tomorrow. One more bookshelf and serious decluttering is on the agenda for the rest of the week.
There is a lot in the room, but it is better placed and space is used more efficiently.
New sheets are on the bed and they look great. Thanks Grandma Sandy!
Meanwhile Lucky isn't sleeping well at night due to his back issues. He spends most of the day in his crate, which is what he is supposed to be doing. He's on lots of meds. Today he went for slightly longer walks than before (half a block) and pooped twice, so that's progress. Hopefully he is on the mend, but it is a slow recovery. He doesn't like sleeping by himself downstairs so I've been sleeping on the couch to keep him company.
A had a playdate this afternoon with a friend from Summer Intensive. She went to her house and swam in a lovely pool. I was quite envious when I went to pick her up.
The girls had a great time on their trip to NY. Highlights were the Alice in Wonderland exhibit at the Morgan Library, Dim Sum at Shun Lee West, the High Line, and swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's apartment's pool.
Last week of Summer Intensive and TSNS camp!
Here are pics of the new room:
Little N said tonight that the moon comes out when the sun is going to sleep. Where did you learn that, N? "Moon camp."
