This weekend was a good combination of errand/home stuff and holiday celebrating. Here's what we did and accomplished:

Went to Palisades Parade

Saw fireworks from the State Department (M, A and Daddy)

Had brunch with friends at fancy country club in Virginia

Hosted a BBQ here tonight with the Koppel-Pollacks and Blancs

Went to 4th of July pool party at Annelise's swim club (M&A)

We also cleared out a bunch of furniture – N's crib (to Jarrett), N's changing table (to Craigslist), the old bookshelf in N's room (to Freecycle), M&A's big Ikea bookshelf (to listserv family) and M&A's dresser (to listserv family who will pick it up on Thursday. We still have a lot of cleaning out to do in the girls' room and much organizing to do in N's room. But we're slowly getting there.
