N did "yots and yots" of cute things tonight. Now of course I can't remember any of them! Will try my best to think of them.

1. We talked about him going to the zoo next week with his teachers. He is excited but scared that the lions will get out and chase him. He asked if they would be in a crape (crate) the whole time. He also wanted to know where the zookeeper would be. He has clearly read too many books about animals escaping the zoo! (Sammy the Seal, Goodnight Gorilla, Curious George, etc.)

2. After bath, we opened my box from BEA and found 5 new books for N! He was so excited! We enjoyed a few of them quite a bit, especially a really cute one about a walrus and penguin who escape from the zoo!! Ironic.

3. N said "I love you" to M and gave her a big kiss. He didn't beat up A as much as usual either.

4. We played a game when N was in the bath tonight. Which sister plays soccer? A. Which sister likes orange? M. Who plays the piano? To which he said, "ME!"

5. After I put N down, he was calling "Mama! Mama!" for  a while. I tried to ignore it, but finally went up. "Mama, you forgot to pull down the shade." He was right!

6. He has been listing things that he will be able to do when he is 3. Write the letter M. Whistle. It is so cute. We talked about him sleeping in a big boy bed when he is 3. He is not ready to do that now.
