Hapy Memorial Day! What an unbelievably gorgeous weekend we have had. We've been lucky to be able to spend a lot of it outside. Today, the girls went swimming with Natalie for a few hours, and ran into a lot of people from their class.

N stayed here with us and helped us get the house ready for some company tonight. He and Daddy nailed all the nails on the deck and trimmed the hedges. N woke up very late this morning (like 11AM) so he didn't take a nap.

He has been singing "Do Re Mi" a lot, which is adorable. Last night we needed to distract him while removing a splinter, and we showed him lots of videos of songs from The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. He loved them!

Tonight we had the Krevats over for dinner, along with Grandma Sandy. It was a successful party! Hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, chicken thanks to Grandma, a few salads and corn. The kids all had fun and the big girls were great with the Nates. They played parachute outside with them and generally helped keep an eye on them. It's nice having a family where everyone on our end has someone to hang out with.
