Special Visitor’s Day

Today was Special Visitor's Day at TSNS. Daddy and Grandma Sandy went to N's class and saw some of his artwork. I didn't really get much detail about what happened during class – maybe Daddy will write a blog entry for tomorrow?  After class, N had his first official speech therapy session. The therapist got to observe N playing in the classroom with his friend Allen, and she saw a much more interactive N than the one she observed last week. She gave us some exercises for him to work on, and she was very impressed that he could identify the first letter of a word like zebra by sounding it out.

Also, big milestone: N pooped on the potty last night and tonight! Big deal.

Sadly, right now it is 11:19 and he is up crying. He's stuffy and cranky and it's keeping him up.

The girls are in the throes of school projects: upcoming science fair and an opinion essay, where they have to take a stand on school uniforms and defend it.

A did her presentation in her class for her therapy dogs report, and it went well. The kids asked her a lot of questions.

Tomorrow is Arts Night/Informance for 5th Grade at Lafayette.
