Today didn't seem as crazy as usual today, despite the schedule.
The girls had their Wax Museum at Sunday School today. Their speeches are below. Daddy had to go to a meeting so N and I went to see it. N enjoyed pushing the "button" that made the wax statues start talking. Pics:
Daddy took the girls to M's softball game, which she was only able to stay for about one inning of. Then it was off to rehearsal for Alice, and then home.
Tonight I tried a "sheet pan dinner", which turned out really well. We also had a nice visit from Grandma Sandy and Stu. Grandma is out and about, which is great to see!!
Back to school and work tomorrow.
A cute Nism from today – he found a copy of Goodnight Gorilla tonight in his room that was much larger than the version we usually read. He said to Daddy, "Did the book grow up?"
Here are the girls' speeches:

Hi. I’m Eve. I am known as the first woman on Earth. God created Adam and wanted him to have a partner. He created many animals but never found someone Adam would be partners with. God created me out of Adam’s rib and I became Adam’s partner.
God said to us, “You may eat from all trees except for the big one in the middle, which is the Tree of Wisdom.” He said if I were to eat from that tree, I would die. I came across a talking snake with arms and legs. He tricked me into eating an apple from the Tree of Wisdom. He told me that if I ate the apple, I would not die, but I would know the difference between right and wrong, just like God. I gave some of the apple to Adam and he ate it too.
We then opened our eyes and could tell the differences between right and wrong. There were consequences. God kicked Adam and me out of the Garden of Eden but for the snake who tricked me, his consequence was that he would not talk anymore or have arms and legs. He’d have to slither on his belly and grownups and children would hate him.
My being kicked out of the Garden of Eden by eating the apple now makes people in 2015 know the differences between good and bad. It can be very helpful and powerful to know this information, but it also means that people have to witness evil and sadness in the world.

I am Deborah, the Mother of Israel. I've lived a long, full life but as one of Israel's most famous judges, I've also had to make some tough decisions. The hardest one to face was whether or not to lead the Israelites into rebellion against King Jabin and his army commander, Sisera. Should I sacrifice the Israelites, or let the cruel king attack — again?
As a judge, I was a leader, and I felt I should be brave about this situation, and handle this the right way. Nobody else was brave enough to step up to the plate, so I did. In fact, I told my army commander, Barak, that he was in charge of gathering ten thousand men to fight, but he was so scared, I had to go with him. I told him he would not receive glory when Sisera was defeated by a woman. (Girl power!)
This decision is relevant to present day because the Israelites might have still been trapped in Israel and attacked by wicked King Jabin if the rebellion I started hadn't been successful. Present-day Jewish people might not be where they are today. The lesson to learn: if there's a problem, don't hesitate, fix it.
