Here is what happened for April Fool's Day today. Last night, I put some bowls of cereal in the freezer. Here's how they looked in the morning:
We served them to the girls for breakfast. M was definitely a bit skeptical when she saw it, and was even more so when she couldn't get the spoon out. A in turn looked at it like, "What…?". They quickly realized that it was a joke and found it very funny. Easy way to get smiles on their faces in the morning!
I had gone to the bagel store early in the morning, and they ended up with fresh warm bagels, so they were happy!
In their lunchboxes today: tuna sandwiches, water with green food dye, banana, plastic green pepper, plastic fries, Hanukah gelt, goldfish.
Sadly, that was it for the April Fool's Day jokes.
Tomorrow is the Winter Dance! It was postponed from earlier this month, and it's not even winter anymore, but it will hopefully be fun.
