Daddy had another big day today! He had breakfast at the VP's house, then toured Arlington Cemetery with the Afghan presidents, then had lunch with the President at the White House, and had dinner tonight at the State Department. He isn't home yet (11:22PM) – what a long day! But one he will always remember. We are excited to hear about it when he eventually gets home.

Grandma Dina is in town from NY to attend the joint session of Congress tomorrow when Ghani is speaking. She arrived around 8:45 and got to spend some time with the girls tonight. She saw their pointe shoes and brought them some cupcakes from Crumbs, which they loved (of course).

In other news, N didn't nap today so it was a long day for Imogene. Only one tantrum before bed, then a demand for a marshmallow. He only ate half of it, then handed it back to me and said it was too sticky.
