I just read an article that everything changes at age 12 – kids don't listen to their parents anymore, their bodies change, their friends change, they retreat into technology, etc. We asked the girls if that will happen to them, and they said NO. I sure hope not!! I would be so sad.
We broke out the 3Doodler tonight. It is cool but kind of hard to use. A made a cube and a 3D A, and M made a rainbow.
N and M and I set up a picnic game tonight, where there are plates and utensils and a variety of foods. We set up plates for N, M, me and Daddy (N's choice). N passed out all the food. Daddy got peas, M got cookies, I got a chicken leg, and N got EVERYTHING ELSE: cupcake, watermelon, orange juice, milk, hot dog, 2 sandwiches, gingerbread man, pear, grapes, tomatoes, bananas and yogurt. His stack was so high that it kept falling over.
M seems to have lost interest in the pi recitation, but Daddy and I just quizzed her (and asked her why she was so not into it) and she just recited 126 (!) numbers. OH MY GOD.
