Tonight, the girls had their second performance of Sleepy Hollow. They said it went well. They are sad because they love this cast, and tomorrow is the other cast, and they will miss their friends. But they will see them again Saturday afternoon, so don't feel too sad for them.
Daddy met the girls after their rehearsal at 5 and took them to dinner at the Kennedy Center cafeteria, which they loved. He works a few blocks away so it worked out really well. I came home and did lots of cooking with N. We made peanut butter health balls, which are really weird but which N and I both like to eat, and quinoa bites, which are also weird but make great breakfasts. N was a big help.
Tomorrow is performance #3. Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron are coming in for the weekend to see the show.
N says so many funny one-liners that I forget by the end of the day – I need to start writing them down. I really wish I could remember them. #downsideofbeinganoldermother
