Hugs and Dancing

Some cute things from today…

The girls and I have volunteered every Tuesday morning to help get kids out of their cars in the dropoff line at school. The girls have been very committed to this and have gone every Tuesday, except when they've been sick or out of town. The assistant principal has noticed their consistency and said that she wants to do something for them before the end of the year.

Today it was VERY cold and we were out there taking kids out of their cars. Our next door neighbor drove up with his daughter Bella (who is in pre-K), and the girls hugged her when she got out of the car, before she walked into school. She was in seventh heaven. SO CUTE.

Poor M had to walk to the Tenley Library for a field trip this AM. It was very cold.

We've enrolled the girls in two weeks of Sidwell Camp after Summer Intensive. I hope they like it.

Those girls are the BEST.

After dinner tonight, N said that he wanted me to sit so that I could watch him dance. I have done that how many times with the girls?? And he wanted ballet music. And he tried to do the splits. And then danced with the girls. To The Nutcracker.

That little boy. The cutest.
