This is the girls’ last week at home before school starts. They’ve had lots of social plans – 2 playdates yesterday (Emily and Charlotte), a swimming playdate today (Ellie) – and tomorrow they have piano lessons in the morning and we are going to the Nats game in the evening for a birthday party at a suite (fancy!). This morning A got her expander in and M got a holding wire. They are both uncomfortable – A especially so – and are not so enamored with orthodontia anymore.
Tomorrow is a packing day, with a few errands thrown in. We leave for the beach on Saturday! Can’t wait!!
I picked up my iPad yesterday and closed a bunch of Safari windows that the girls had open. You can really tell a lot about people by the websites they visit! Here are some of the windows that were open in the browser:
- Youtube: videos of “Pippin” at the Tony Awards
- eBay: searches for prices of various Nats bobbleheads and Jayson Werth garden gnome (as if we’d ever sell ours!!)
- Google search for videos of The Brady Bunch episodes online
- Video: OK Go dominoes video
- Google search for “domino effect with ball”
- Videos of Copper Top Flop [a funny guy from TV who makes amusing YouTube videos]
- Washington Ballet – Alice in Wonderland at Cherry Blossom Festival (which the girls performed in)
- Lafayette Summer Reading List and written assignment
- My profile on LinkedIn (which is linked to at the bottom of all of my emails)
- “The Great Gatsby” on imdb.com
- Kmail inbox
- MLB scores
These windows are a mix of the girls’ windows, but you can probably guess who was looking at which ones.
