Today was one of the girls' few days left of vacation here in DC, with me home, and we made the most of it.
8AM – orthodontist appointments, where they got measured for their expander (A) and holding wire (M)
9:15AM – piano lessons
12:30 – packed for PA and went through and reorganized drawers
2PM – A and I labeled her school supplies for next year and put them in her backpack
(Oh, and A finished her book)
3PM- cleaned out ballet bag and got it ready for next year
5PM – left for Nats game
6PM – bad traffic but made it in time to park and get THREE Jayson Werth garden gnomes
6:30 – traded ONE Jayson Werth garden gnome with Andrew H. for a Bryce Harper bobblehead
7:05 – Nats v Mets. Nats lost.
11:00 – back home, get ready for bed.
Whew!
Sarah babysat for N after 8 tonight, and said she had a great time with him. He was so excited that she was coming over and talked about it all afternoon. He was sad, though, when we left for the game without him. "Take Nay Nay bay-ball game? Take Nay Nay bay-ball game?" SO SAD
Here are the girls before the game started (which is why we were still smiling):
