Daddy is out of town for several nights on a trip to "the region". Boo. But we had a good night at home. Here's what we did:

– Watched the Nats beat the O's 

– Tried to keep N from throwing things all around the house

-Went throughthe summer reading list and decided which books the girls will read and which we will pick for the first book club meeting

-Cleaned out and reorganized the apps on my iPhone. We were tempted to delete one of N's annoying song apps ("a crocodlile was swimming in the Nile…") but then we felt bad so we didn't.

-Ate the dinner I made for me (the girls had already eaten), which they never would have eaten if I had made it for them – steamed asparagus over brown rice

Since I am missing boot camp this week due to Daddy being away, the girls are concocting all sorts of exercises for us to do at home. Pullups on the bunk bed (bad idea for many reasons), jump rope, hula hoop, etc.  Very cute.
