Race Day

This morning, Daddy and I got up very early and headed downtown for the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler race. It was an early and chilly morning, but we both had good races and enjoyed a beautiful day. No cherry blossoms yet, sadly, thanks to some recent cold weeks. But it was pretty and we had a good time. Here we are post-race:

Thank you Grandma Sandy for staying over last night so we could leave the house at 6:30 to go downtown! N was up early this morning so she had lots of QT with him. 🙂

This afternoon, we had a BOB meeting at our house. The girls are very well-prepared – I am proud of all of them! The competition is this Wednesday. Daddy and his friend Cliff, who is in from LA, went to the playground with N. When N met Cliff, he said "Doggy!" and took out Cllifford the Big Red Dog for Cliff to read to him. So cute!

The weather is getting better and N spent some time playing in the backyard this weekend. We also did some of our BOB prep outside, which was nice too. The fun sort of ended when A threw her shoe over the fence into our neighbor's yard and we had a hard time finding it. Eventually, we did.
