Two Kids At Home

So much going on!

M is HOME! She was gone for a week: Princeton-NY-Dartmouth-Boston-Providence and returned home tonight. Her travels all went very smoothly and she saw lots of friends in each place. She has all sorts of observations about the schools she visited and the people she met. It was fun to hear about everyone and everything. I can't believe she is leaving on MONDAY. Well, on Monday she is joining her group downtown for 2 days of orientation, and then she flies out to Taiwan next Thursday. I am very, very sad.

I am back from NY. I had a good time, and spent lots of time with A. Last night she came to our work party at Pier 17, and then out with work people afterwards. It was a beautiful venue, and so much fun to have A there. Everyone knew of her and wanted to talk to her about NYU. So sweet. Also A slept in my hotel on Tuesday night and we hung out for breakfast the next AM and got groceries and, um, drinks for her room.

And she will be home tomorrow! We are excited.

N had his first soccer practice tonight. Practices conflict with baseball so he has to choose each Thursday which he will go to. After practice he ran around the field with Hobart, which was very cute. Here is a pic I took of Hobart on the field:

Dad and N went to the Nats game on Wednesday while I was gone. Needless to say, they lost.

Tomorrow I am going to post pics of N's identity box, which he has to turn in tomorrow. It's very cute. But I am too tired to post them tonight, and our internet isn't working well up in my room.
